

WORLD WHEELCHAIR MIXED DOUBLES CHAMPIONSHIP UNDERWAY
The World Wheelchair Mixed Doubles Curling Championship 2025 gets underway tomorrow in Stevenston, Scotland, with two-person teams from around the globe competing in this new Paralympic discipline. The championship will run through March 16th.

SMITH, FARBELOW CAPTURE SENIOR NATIONALS TITLES
A total of 35 teams—20 men’s, 15 women’s—traveled to Traverse City, MI, to compete for the right to be called the nation’s best curling team over 50 years of age.
When the rocks came to rest at the Traverse City Curling Center on Sunday afternoon, there were two familiar winners.

USA Curling has announced that it will adhere to the recent World Curling ruling regarding Pursuer foam for the remainder of the 2025 championship season. Effective immediately, this decision ensures consistency in equipment regulations across all USA Curling-sanctioned events.

The 2025 World Wheelchair Curling Championship in Stevenston, Scotland, UK, kicks off on Saturday, March 1st, with the opening session at 2:30 PM GMT. Team USA will hit the ice in the second session at 7:30 PM GMT in a feature match against Canada.

Cory Thiesse and Korey Dropkin have earned a berth in the 2025 World Championship and the right to represent the United States in Mixed Doubles Curling at the 2026 Winter Olympic Games.

FINAL OF U.S. OLYMPIC TEAM TRIALS FOR MIXED DOUBLES CURLING—GAME ONE GOES TO THIESSE/DROPKIN
Cory Thiesse and Korey Dropkin are one win away from earning the right to represent the United States in Mixed Doubles Curling at the 2026 Winter Olympic Games after defeating Sarah Anderson and Andrew Stopera 8-7 in the first game of the Best-of-Three Championship Final.

CHAMPIONSHIP FINAL SET AT U.S. OLYMPIC TEAM TRIALS FOR MIXED DOUBLES CURLING
Ten teams entered the Mixed Doubles Olympic Team Trials at Rock Creek Curling in Lafayette, CO, with Olympic dreams and now, just two remain, competing to represent the United States at the 2025 World Mixed Doubles Championship and the 2026 Winter Olympic Games in Cortina, Italy.

COLLEGE NATIONALS FIELD SET
USA Curling is pleased to announce the field for the 2025 USA College Curling Championship, scheduled for March 6th through March 9th at the Midland Curling Club in Midland, MI.

The Mixed Doubles Olympic Team Trials get underway with pre-event practices and and an evening session on Monday, February 17th, at Rock Creek Curling in Lafayette, CO. The top ten teams in the country will compete for the opportunity to represent the United States at the 2025 World Mixed Doubles Championship in Fredericton, NB, and at the Games in Cortina in 2026.

The 2025 USA Curling National Championships came to a close on Sunday in Duluth, MN, with both the Men’s and Women’s final games going to an extra end before a winner was determined.

For the first time since 2008, the USA Curling Men’s & Women’s Nationals will unfold in the state of Minnesota, as the city of Duluth hosts the event at the DECC Arena. Qualifying round play starts on January 27th, with playoff and championship games on February 1st and 2nd.

TEAM USA COMPETES AT WORLD UNIVERSITY GAMES IN MEN’S, WOMEN’S, MIXED DOUBLES
The U18 Boys and Girls National Championships are set to get underway this Thursday at Rock Creek Curling in Lafayette, CO. Twelve Girls teams and 12 Boys teams will compete to win this national championship for American curlers under the age of eighteen.

JOHNSON, GUENTZEL CAPTURE U18 NATIONAL TITLES
Teams from across the country came to Rock Creek Curling in Lafayette, CO, this past weekend to compete at the Boys’ and Girls’ U18 National Championships. When the last stones came to rest, it was teams representing the Minnesota Curling Association that left with gold.

DWYER/EMT WIN WHEELCHAIR MIXED DOUBLES NATIONALS
The USA Curling Wheelchair Mixed Doubles Nationals will have some new names on it, as the team of Laura Dwyer and Steve Emt defeated defending champions Oyuna Uranchimeg and Matt Thums 9-3 in Sunday’s championship game at the Windy City Curling Club in Villa Park, IL.
