ARENA NATIONALS QUALIFIER BONSPIEL ANNOUNCED

[EDEN PRAIRIE, MN, June 12, 2024] — USA Curling is pleased to announce that the La Crosse Curling Club will host the 2024 Arena Nationals Qualifier Bonspiel from September 6-8, 2024.
The winning team of each gender at this event will earn a berth in the 2024 Arena Nationals at the Wausau Curling Club in Wausau, WI, from October 23-27, 2024.
Dean Gemmell, CEO of USA Curling, said, “We’re thrilled that the La Crosse Curling Club has committed to running this new event. We know it will be a great way for arena curlers to gather and compete, and we welcome an additional qualification avenue for the 2024 Arena Nationals.”
The decision to award a Nationals berth through this Qualifier Bonspiel was made after consulting with the members of the Arena Club Working Group, and is part of a larger effort to expand competitive opportunities for arena curlers.
Brian Bessert, President of the La Crosse Curling Club and a member of the Arena Club Working Group, added, “We hope that arena curlers from across the country will put the Qualifier Bonspiel on their schedule. Not only does it offer a berth in Nationals, we’re working hard to make it a fun, memorable event for all teams.”
