TEAM CHRISTENSEN ANNOUNCED
USA Curling is pleased to announce Team Christensen as the first of three women's teams in the High Performance Program this upcoming season.
The team of Cory Christensen, Sarah Anderson, Vicky Persinger and Taylor Anderson will be coached by Cathy Overton-Clapham.
While this team is new, their familiarity with one another is not.
The Andersons first joined forces with Christensen in 2015, when they won back-to-back junior national championships and then went on to compete together in the 2018 Olympic Team Trials. In 2019, Persinger and Christensen teamed up for a season, in which they played in a Grand Slam event, as well as a Curling World Cup. Most Recently, the foursome played together last season (2019-20) on the five-person team skipped by Jamie Sinclair.
The lineup has yet to be determined, but Christensen is eager to get to work with the new roster.
"I'm excited to team up with a group of such dedicated and hard-working girls," said Christensen. "We're looking forward to a fun season of achieving our goals together."
