Due to the ongoing pandemic, USA Curling has made the decision to postpone the 2021 Junior National (U21) Championships until August 9-14, 2021.

The Championships, previously scheduled March 28 – April 3, 2021, will still be hosted by the Chaska Curling Center in Chaska, Minn., a state-of-the-art facility that boasts six sheets of pristine curling ice.

To qualify for the 2021 Junior National Championships, all participants must be eligible for the 2022 World Junior Curling Championships and teams must have two or more players that have qualified for the Junior National or U18 National Championships in either of the past two seasons (2019 or 2020).

In addition to becoming the 2022 Junior National Team, the winners of the 2021 Junior National Championships will advance to the World Junior-B Curling Championships to earn the United States a spot in the 2022 World Junior Curling Championships. Should the spots be secured, the team(s) will advance to represent the United States at the 2022 World Junior Curling Championships.

Exact dates of the Championships will be determined based on the number of teams registered upon the close of registration. Dates of registration for the 2021 Junior National Championships will be shared in the coming weeks.
