BROADCAST SCHEDULE FOR “CURLING NIGHT IN AMERICA”

On August 24-27, top-ranked curlers from all over the globe met at Great Park Ice and Five Point Arena in Irvine, California, to film the seventh season of “Curling Night in America”.

Men’s, women’s, and mixed doubles teams from Canada, Germany, Denmark, and the United States played in double-round robins, earning three points per win. At the conclusion of the event, teams with the most points in each field were crowned as event champions, and the country with the most overall points declared the “Curling Night in America” winner.

“This is a great opportunity to engage with the millions of people who watched the Gold Medal game in 2018,” said USA Curling CEO Jeff Plush. “We’re eager to continue exciting the masses about the intricacies of our sport through education and exposure and look forward to getting more people on the ice!”

With the help of volunteers from across the country and especially area curling clubs, a crew of skilled ice technicians, a medical team enforcing Covid protocols, and the backdrop of a beautiful facility, USA Curling is proud to deliver 18 hours of television coverage to millions of homes through the NBC Sports Network. Fans will be able to tune into the event for nine consecutive weeks beginning on September 19, 2021.
